Salary: Negotiable, dependant on experience

We’re currently looking to add an apprentice engineer to our ever-expanding team. The successful applicant
will be joining our Henley-on-Thames Depot, in a yard-based role with training towards an NVQ in Plant
Engineering and Maintenance provided.

Duties:

• Working within a team of mechanics, liaising with and reporting to the Workshop Manager
• Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI’s) of Plant so all equipment is safe and ready for hire
• Routine/periodic services to fleet items
• In-house workshop repairs to fleet items
• Inspection of all plant when returned, with feedback to the Worksop Manager if there are any damages and/or items missing
• Repairs/breakdowns to fleet items on site as and when required
• Service and repairs to customers own equipment
• General housekeeping of workshop
• Workshop stock checks

Requirements:

• Confident and friendly customer service
• Keen interest in plant/mechanics
• Ability to work in a team
• Positive, can-do attitude with a genuine interest in the industry
